Een slangbreukventiel (ook wel slangbreukbeveiliging genoemd) met mannelijke en vrouwelijke schroefdraad (male/female), ontworpen om de veiligheid in pneumatische of hydraulische systemen te verhogen. Bij een plotselinge slangbreuk of extreme drukval sluit het ventiel automatisch direct af, waardoor ongecontroleerd ontsnappen van perslucht of vloeistof en het wegzwiepen van de slang wordt voorkomen.
